Original, One Only, Oils, Texture Papers and Dried Rose petals.

Summertime after a rain storm is such a magical fragrant time, and add the bonus of seeing a rainbow makes it doubly special to this Artist! In this piece I imagined a favorite spot out at McLane Creek, outside my home in Olympia, Washington on a summer afternoon after a thundershower had moved through and the sun quickly returns forcing a rainbow to appear! I had fun using scraps of textured papers to create the rainbow, and dried rose petals for the bushes and foliage. And played with a colorful pallet of colors to finish out the piece. I hope it brings a bit of fond personal feelings and warmth to you!
