On a sunrise hike in the fall of 2017, from a viewpoint on Hood Canal, WA, I spotted a lone hang glider soaring above the Puget Sound waters, with the Olympic Range in the background and a stunning exploding colorful sky. Also the geological varied formations were in a colorful sands, that I captured with textured papers. Hang Gliding Over Puget Sound is a handmade, all original art piece created on cotton canvas using oil paints  and textured paper. This abstract art piece was inspired by the natural beauty of the Puget Sound and the incredible sunsets seen here in Olympia, Washington.
