Capitol Forest 10 miles out in the country from my home in Olympia, Washington is a place of tranquility and beauty for me.  A true area of serenity and inspiration for my artistic juices and the place of birth for this piece.  Seeing the beautiful colors and reflections led to my creation of this piece with all its shimmer and reflection. I brought my Fauvist palette to bear with much effect in its development!  I hope you enjoy it!
